What should we bring?

Great question!  We recommend the following:

We do provide rash guards and booties, however if you have either of those items, please feel free to bring them.  Other good items to bring are a towel and a camera.

Where do the lessons take place?

Maui Surfing Lessons operates at the Surf Shack in Kihei, across from Kalama Park and located at the corner of South Kihei Road and Auhana Rd. Directions can be found here.

How do you make reservations?

Online.  

Group & Private lesson reservations are at the bottom of each sections web page.

All of our reservations are online only in order to keep our costs down and thus pass along the lowest prices possible to our customers.

Once you book your surfing lesson on our website, we instantly send you a confirmation email with driving directions, reminders, what to bring and a contact phone number in case you need to call us.

What's our cancellation policy?

24 hours, no restrictions.

We like things simple and easy for our guests, so you can cancel or modify your reservation all the way up until 24 hours until your scheduled lesson time.

No penalties, no fees, no hassles or concerns.  Just fun baby!

Need to change a reservation?

Just need to change the date or time of your lesson?

Call us at the phone number on your confirmation receipt. All time/date changes are by phone, whereas cancellations are done by email.

Need to cancel?

Please email us directly.

Cancellations are different than changes. For cancellations, we want to refund you ASAP, and thus we do that via email directly so we can refund you instantly.

If you just need to make a change or don't have access to email, please call us at the phone number on your confirmation email.

Why no phone number on the website?

Our goal is to give our customers the very best experience at the very best price possible.  In order to do that, we try to keep our administrative costs as low as we can and thus we have limited phone support to guests who've already booked a surfing lesson and simply need to make any changes or that have questions.

All other inquiries are online only and handled by email directly.
